The room available is for a mostly self-contained unit on the ground floor of our house. Our family lives upstairs but we all enjoy the backyard and share the laundry. The cost stated above is for the unit only; we can provide food but this would of course be extra.

We are a family of four: myself; my husband; and our 2 girls- Miss 3 year old and little Miss 1 year old. We are an Australian/Mexican family and speak English and Spanish. We have a cosy home in Chapel Hill, with a pool, vegetable garden and large yard. We enjoy spending time at home, pottering in the garden, swimming in the pool and being active.

My husband and I both work and are a fairly busy family but enjoy meeting new people. Although the unit available is downstairs - we welcome visitors into our family life.

Our house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Chapel Hill and is about 600m to buses that go to Indooroopilly, and the city. The bus to the university is even closer. We are very conveniently located to the University of Queensland (UQ) St Lucia and a lot of UQ students and staff live in Chapel Hill. We are only 10km from the city but it feels like 100km because it is so green and quiet.

We live very close to Mount Cootha for nature walks or an energetic walk to the summit. There is a lovely bike track that takes you all the way to the city. We have a lot of spaces around the house to enjoy the weather in Brisbane.

Our place would really suit people new to Brisbane, that are finding their feet, and don't mind the occasional conversation with a three year old chatterbox!
